Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Medjugorje

Heaven Touches Earth in Medjugorje
On June 25, 1981, in the small village of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Blessed Virgin Mary began appearing to six young teenagers on Mount Podbrdo, now known as Apparition Hill. Since then, Our Lady has continued to appear and deliver messages of peace, prayer, fasting, conversion, and faith, inviting the world to return to her Son.
In response, over 40 million pilgrims have traveled to Medjugorje to encounter what many describe as “Heaven on Earth.” It has become known as the “confessional of the world”, a sacred place where thousands experience inner healing, radical conversion, and a renewed love for the Eucharist and Reconciliation.
Each morning, pilgrims attend Daily Mass at St. James Church, followed by a blessing of religious articles.
Daily activities:
-Climb Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary.
-Climb Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain), praying the Stations of the Cross and praying before the large cross at the summit.
-Evenings include praying the Rosary with locals to honor Our Lady’s apparitions, followed by Croatian Mass and a Blessing of the Sick.
-Eucharistic Adoration on Tuesdays and Saturdays at St. James Church,
-Community of Cenacolo to hear inspiring testimonies of recovery through faith.
-Tihaljina’s Immaculate Conception Parish Church for private Mass and prayer.
